  We tried to order the ribs. After waiting 15 minutes they came out to tell us they didn't have any. So we ordered the 6oz sirloins. We basically got the steak version of a chicken nugget. Never got any refills. When we finally got our ticket they had charged us for the ribs and steaks. They finally got it all fixed but we ended up paying $35 for awful food and service.

  My family frequents the Applebee's chain because we have two young children we need to accommodate when eating. Applebee's has a nice children's menu, and on a couple different days a week we can get the kids meals for 99 cents which is a steal! I love their healthy choices menu where I can see the exact calorie content of my meal. On their website you can track down the caloric values of every meal, if you're curious. Their grilled foods are delicious, well seasoned, and juicy. I ordered extra broccoli last time I was there, trying to make more healthy choices, and I was disappointed with a $3 extra side dish charge. Considering the cost of fresh produce, I should have received a whole crown of broccoli for that price, but I suppose it is what it is. The servers at this Applebee's tend to be more attentive than at the restaurant on 13th Street in Wichita. Generally, even though it's farther away, we'll drive to Andover for the better service. A good restaurant for families with kids. I know we'll return often!
